It was so nice to receive a visit from an old student who studied with us 7 years ago. Lobsang is a monk from Tibet and decided to drop in on his friend, Konchok, who is studying with us at the moment. Konchok is a monk from India. Pictured from left to right is Konchok, John, Lobsang and Margaret.

Another lovely, sunny day in Bristol. We walked from the school to the SS Great Britain, Bristol's number one tourist attraction. It was the world's first ocean-going, propeller-driven iron-hulled steam ship. Built in Bristol by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, it was the biggest ship in the world at that time. On the way, we passed another of Brunel's great engineering masterpieces, the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
