GETTING HERE

Bristol is very well connected. Bristol International Airport is only 20 minutes away. You can get to both Heathrow and Gatwick by direct bus. London is only 100 minutes away by train and the M4 and M5 motorways ensure that you can travel with ease to all corners of the country.

  • Bristol International Airport

Bristol International Airport is only 20 minutes from the school by taxi. To see all the places you can fly to from Bristol, click here.

The following airlines use Bristol airport: Easyjet, Ryanair, BA, Lufthansa, Air France, Air Brussels, BMI, Continental.

Taxis from Bristol airport cost around £25.00. Transfers cost £30.00 and we use the same taxi company, so maybe it is better just to take a taxi when you arrive!

There is an airport bus which costs £9.00 return. However, if you take the bus, remember you also have to take a taxi when you arrive at Bristol bus station. The bus stop in Bristol which is closest to the school is the stop at Triangle West Clifton.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Heathrow Airport
  • Gatwick Airport

The easiest and certainly the cheapest way to get to Bristol from both Heathrow and Gatwick is by direct bus. The journey from Heathrow takes 2 hours and costs £40.90 return and from Gatwick it takes 3 hours and costs £47.90 return. You can book a ticket on line with National Express. Don't worry if your plane is late, you can always take the next available bus. The central bus station in Bristol is called the Marlborough Street Bus Station. Whenever you arrive, you will always find taxis waiting. The cost of a taxi to your accommodation will be around £12.00.

AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE

Prices are for transfer on arrival only. There are reduced rates for students arriving together.

At Heathrow and Gatwick, the school driver meets you when you come through customs. At Bristol Airport, when you come through customs, you must go to the Checkers Cars Taxi office, which is outside the terminal building on your left.

* If you take a taxi yourself, the cost from Bristol airport is about £25.00.
