Average class size: 10

Supervised Self Study:
3.45 - 4.45 pm (Study Centre remains open until 5.30pm)
As there are students from so many different countries with different linguistic problems, each student is given an individual self-study plan by his/her class teacher. Work can include grammar reinforcement, listening and pronunciation practice, additional examination practice and so on.

You are tested on your progress every Friday and interviewed by your class teacher at the end of your first week, and then every two weeks to make sure that your individual needs are being met.

During the mornings you will study General English. A typical day at school starts with essential work on grammar and provides practice in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. There is regular pronunciation work in class and in the language laboratory. Each class follows a recently published course book which your teacher will supplement with his/her own materials and adapt to the individual needs of the class.

In the afternoons you have the opportunity to concentrate on examination preparation and you are able to pursue your own English language interests and requirements through the electives programme.

On your first day, you will have an entry test and an interview so that we can place you in a class at the right level for you. There are 6 levels with 2 or 3 grades at each level. There are students from around 30 different countries studying in our school at any one time, so we are able to ensure that every class has a good balance of different nationalities.
