SOCIAL PROGRAMME

Hi everyone!

I'm Lily. I'm a teacher but I also arrange the school's social programme. There is a full excursion to another city or tourist destination every weekend. I also arrange 2 or 3 afternoon/evening activities during the week in Bristol.

The programme is organised on a 'pay as you go' basis, however many activities are free.

Our social programme is very popular with our students and participation rates are high. To see the sort of things we do, have a look at the programme below.

SPORTS

Football with the teachers - every Thursday

Football is organised by the teachers themselves. Sometimes it is really popular and places are limited so you may not be able to play every week. It's a 3G astro turf pitch (plastic grass) and you can wear trainers or football boots. Some students can go by car with a teacher but normally some people need to take the train, which costs £2 return. It's a 10 minute journey in total. If you came by train, you should return by train. By the way, the teachers play in red shirts and they sometimes win!

Other sports available in Bristol include volleyball, badminton, tennis, hockey, squash, running, gym, swimming and table tennis. For more detailed information,  please click here.

While you are in the country, why not take the opportunity to see a Premier League football match? Go with some other students; it's more fun and you could save money.
