Bristol
is a lively, exciting city and has all the attractions of London
and yet it is easy to live here. In Bristol, you can walk from your accommodation
to the school, to theatres, concert halls,
pubs, restaurants and clubs.
Bristol
is a major university city. There are more than 50,000 English
students studying here, so there is plenty of student life! Bristol is
particularly well known for its vibrant music scene.
Our
students are welcomed by the Bristol University students. They can use
the Students' Union facilities and they can join the university's
clubs and societies. This is the perfect way to make English friends.
If you know of another English city where the foreign students are so
welcomed by the local university, please let us know - we do not know
of any!

Ask
an English person in which major English city he would prefer to live.
You will be surprised how many choose Bristol and yet it is hardly
known overseas. This has many advantages:
There
are relatively few foreigners in Bristol, so it is easier for our
students to meet English people and participate in our way of life.
Because
there are not many language schools, it is not difficult for us to find
warm caring homestay providers, all of whom live within walking distance
of the school.
Only
90 minutes west of London and with a population of 500,000, Bristol is
one of Britain's major cities and the cultural centre of the West Country.
