On two afternoons, if your level is upper-intermediate and above,
you can choose to study one of the following electives.
If your level is elementary, pre-intermediate or intermediate
you will remain with your class teacher and will concentrate
on improving your General English and, in particular, on
communication and conversation skills. Electives available
include:

Business
English:
(2 levels) The aim is for you to learn the correct English to use
in letters, on the telephone, in meetings and when giving
presentations. The course also covers topics such as marketing,
company structure, import and export, employment, tourism,
finance and banking. You can prepare for the LCCIEB (English
for Business) level 2 Exam.
British
Life and Culture:
An introduction to Britain and the way the British live,
their traditions and customs, history, politics, accent,
class system and society.
Conversation
and Communication:
Designed specifically to improve listening, speaking and
pronunciation skills. You are encouraged to use the language
you have acquired to communicate freely through the use
of role plays, talks, information gap activities, discussion
on current events, video, drama and music. Feedback sessions
ensure that attention is paid to accuracy at all times.

through Music and Song
(depends on demand) This course will cover
a wide range of music and will practise all the language
skills: reading, writing and speaking as well as listening.
Not for those who just want to listen to pop music!
